Child Sacrifice: An Ancient Evil
Child sacrifice. A wicked, dark, demonic ceremony that was very common in ancient times. Even God's people participated in these horrors. However, as King Solomon said, "there's nothing new under the sun." Child sacrifice is still prevalent today. You might be thinking, "yeah it may be prevalent in some tribal communities that serve pagan gods...." But actually its right here in the U.S.A. And even worse this child sacrifice is totally legal. You might know this wicked, dark, and demonic ritual by a different name...namely, abortion. Â
Molech Worship and the Sacrifice of Children in the Bible
In Bible times the Israelites were influenced by the pagan nations around them and began to serve their false gods. Part of their worship was to Molech. They would sacrifice their first born children to Molech by having them pass through the fire. The atrocious ceremony included a parent handing their infant to the priests who would put their child into the statue Molech's large and outstretched hands where the baby would roll into a furnace of fire. To drown out the screams of the baby drummers would drum loudly to prevent the parents from hearing their baby burning to death.
How Abortion Mirrors Ancient Child Sacrifice
This atrocity is still alive and well. Instead of burning children with fire, other atrocious means are used to sacrifice the children in the womb. During a first trimester abortion, a pill is administered to essentially starve the child to death. Progesterone and essential nutrients to a once healthy thriving human being is cut off and a second pill forces the baby to come out of the mother dead, usually in the toilet. Flushed like waste. Another barbaric first trimester abortion involves using a suction to rip the fragile baby apart into a vacuum where it is discarded like trash.
In a second trimester abortion a baby in the womb is delimbed and decapitated. You heard that right- a "Dr." inserts a vicious instrument into the womb and rips whatever it can grab, piece by piece. Â
In a third trimester abortion- which accounts for about 10,000 abortions a year- a "Dr" inserts a large needle into the mother's abdomen and injects a poison into the baby's heart to give him a heart attack and kill him. Then the mother is put into labor where she gives birth to her dead baby.
The False gods of Our Age
So yes, child sacrifice is alive and well. But instead of sacrificing to a false god named Molech, mothers and fathers sacrifice their children to the false goddess called Women's Rights. Â
And to drown out the voiceless cries of their innocent baby's who are being slaughtered at their consent, they bang on the "drums" of propaganda that enflame entitlement, selfishness, and pseudo-scientific delusions. Â
We live in a culture that replaces the terms described above to barbarically murder children with euphemisms such as "women's rights," "healthcare," "reproductive healthcare," "bodily autonomy." Underneath these terms we find the truth they attempt to hide: "women's rights" are actually selfishness and delusion. Murder is called a right and women actually believe they are God; that they have the authority to give and take life (the true definition of delusion). "Healthcare" is actually the opposite. It murders an innocent child- the very opposite mission of real medical Dr's. "Bodily autonomy" thrives off the pseudo-science that says the opposite of true biological science- namely, that the child in the womb is a seperate human being. It claims, falsely, that the baby is her body and she can do what she wants with her body. Or the claim of "bodily autonomy" is erroneously used to say that the child is using her body without authorization. Sadly many don't see that claim for the ubsurdity it is. For a child in the womb to request authorization is impossible for obvious reasons so it's insanely unreasonable for a baby in the womb to endure the consequences for simply being alive....
History Shows Us: Normalized Evil Always Has a Justification
Most evils that societies accept and normalize happen just like we see in the atrocity of abortion today. The Israelites rationalized their barbaric evil of sacrificing their children by virtue signaling. They'd claim they were doing something for the better of the larger community and that by sacrificing their child to Molech they would secure the promise of prosperity. The Germans believed that the murder of the Jews would bring economic prosperity to their country and preserve their Aryan race. The evil of owning and selling African Americans as slaves in our country was justified by dehumanizing black people and thereby justifying their maltreatment. And the evil of abortion is justified in all sorts of ways: career, family planning, fetal anomalies, or simply just don't want to be a mother. However whenever a country is comfortable with justifying murder we truly see the moral depravity of that country.
What Does God Say About Abortion?
The sixth commandment states: You shall not murder. So it goes directly against His Law. God values life in the womb as described in Exodus 21:22-25. There God instructs that if men who are fighting hurt a pregnant woman so that she gives birth and the baby dies, the man who caused the death of the pre-born baby would be put to death as well. Life for a life. God's Holy Spirit even fills the baby in the womb! This is evident by Luke 1:15 where it says he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. This shows how much God regards the life of the child in the womb. Â

What Can You Do? Be a Voice for the Voiceless
Are you disturbed by the evil of abortion in our country? Proverbs 31:8 is a clear command from God: it says, "open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die." Babies are literally appointed to death all around the country as you're reading this. So what can you do?
